This past Friday night I attended The Mother of All Baby Showers at the Young At Art Museum in Davie, FL. I was really excited to go…not only to check out all of the fun and hip new baby products, but also to meet Rosie Pope, star of Bravo’s reality show Pregnant in Heels. Ok, maybe I was also a little excited to get out of the house for a little while and get dressed in something other than pajamas for the event 🙂
My first stop of the evening was to a intimate gathering to get to interview Rosie and chat for about an hour. There were seven bloggers, including myself, who were lucky enough to meet Rosie personally at the q&a session. Rosie, who is currently pregnant with her fourth child, was beyond sweet. She gave great advice and she was very laid back to talk to. She is one of those people that you feel like you have known for way longer than you have, and the conversation flowed freely. Surely, I won’t forget her anytime soon!
I attended the event with my friends Lindsay from You Are The Roots and April from AprilGoLightly. We browsed around and checked out all of the awesome companies that were at the shower. There were a lot of exciting products and brands on display. Also pictured above is Tera from Biz4Moms, Akemi Sue the Mommy Guru, Amy the Wonder Mommy, Lisa from Little Trendyz, and Ruth from Viva Veltoro.
Baby K’Tan was there with a full demonstration of how their baby carrier works. I happened to really like the design of this carrier, as there aren’t tons of buckles and miles of fabric, and can’t wait to try one out with Baby L.
Beth with Shades Kids was there, and had some of the most adorable and unique children’s clothing that I have seen in a while!
I was overly excited about the fact that my personal friend since high school was at the shower to promote her absolutely amazing photography business, Tasharazzi Photography. She has taken all of the photos of my kids as newborns, Little J’s first birthday and my pregnancy with Baby L. I really can’t get enough of her photos! She has such a gift when it comes to photography 🙂
When I first walked past Go Mama Go’s booth, I was so excited about their individual crib bumpers, Wonder Bumpers. As most parents know, the old fashioned crib bumpers are not very safe, and so I was thrilled to see this design! Once I started talking with Catherine, I just had to have this product! (Review coming soon!)
Milkin’ Cookies had their lactation cookies available to sample. They were quite delicious, and help with increasing milk production! So cool!
Zenerations of Boca had an awesome pampering suite set up to offer free mini massages to moms-to-be and new moms! How zen is that?! 🙂
My favorite blonde ladies of Baby BeeHaven were in attendance with their innovative products! If you haven’t heard of them, you can check them out here. (Review coming soon!)
Some local moms in attendance were Amy from Wonder Mommy and Lisa of Little Trendyz (her pajamas are the best!!)
Baby Spa was also there with some great bath and skin care products for children, while Mama Mio was displaying their skin care line for mama’s. Pediped was also there showing off their super cute and comfy kids shoes, which we love! 2 Chicks Cupcakery had some heavenly delicious cupcakes for attendees to sample, and they were too good to resist!! Tutti Bambini was there with their exclusive Jeremy Scott Cybex stroller, which was a very cool design!
Overall, the event was a really fun time! It was informative and everyone was so friendly! I am glad I was able to be a part of such a wonderful event! I can’t wait to go again next year!!
