Last week when we created our Finger Painted Fall Leaf Garland we also made some rather cute Thanksgiving turkey handprint cards, at the same time. It was a very fun afternoon of Fall arts and crafts, to say the least 🙂
Making these super cute cards was fairly quick and easy, and Little J really enjoyed it!
First, we painted his hand brown and made a little handprint onto card stock paper (we made 3 cards). Then we glued the feathers onto the fingers of the handprints (See pic below for how Little J feels about glue…he is in LOVE with squeezing glue out of the bottle, and really, who am I to stop his creative process?!)

I love glue!! |
We made a few of these, and once they were dry we glued on googly eyes, drew on orange beaks, and black feet and wrote a Happy Thanksgiving message.
These would be cute to send out to family and friends from your child, or to put in a frame and display on your Thanksgiving table 🙂
Gobble gobble!
