Little J absolutely loves music. We attend a few mommy & me classes on a weekly basis that are centered around music, which he loves. When we go over to my parents house he has to run over to the piano and bang on the keys. He is obsessed with all of his musical toys.
I wanted to make him a little band-in-a-box from upcycled materials. I was going to give it to him as part of his Christmas presents, but I couldn’t wait! He really enjoyed the box, to say the least! 🙂
What’s in the box:
Drum – made from a kid’s snack container and Polka Dot Duck Tape
Rain Tube – made from a paper towel roll, small bells, and Houndstooth Duck Tape
Jingle Bell Bracelet – pipe cleaners and large jingle bells
Horn – Party horn and Puppy Print Duck Tape
Shakers – Small plastic storage container and pony beads
Ribbon Shaker Cup – Read tutorial here
Little J dove right into the box and got right down to jamming with his new instruments! I am so happy that he liked it 🙂

This is such a fun idea! I love how the instruments are recycled – bonus!
Thanks, Emma! I'm glad you like it! 🙂
