Are you late to the Valentine’s party like we are? Don’t fret! I have a super simple idea to create an adorable, quick and easy kid-decorated picture frame card that is meaningful and from-the-heart.
First, I had Little J decorate some blank cards (you can use thick paper) with Do-a-Dot markers and crayons.
Then, once Little J was satisfied with his designs, I took a foam heart and cut a heart shaped hole in the center of it with scissors. If you don’t have foam hearts readily available, use some colored construction paper.
I cut a cute picture of the boys to fit into the heart cut out, and glued it to the front of the card (the side without Little J’s artwork).
I wrote the sweet message “Our Hearts Belong to Daddy” on the front, since this will be a card for their Dad 🙂
When the card is opened up, Little J’s designs are inside and it says “Happy Valentine’s Day!”
I used the piece of foam that was cut out from the picture frame heart on the inside, too! No waste!
This is so quick and easy, and is sure to please who ever will be receiving it! I know Daddy is going to LOVE this!
Happy Valentine’s Day!! xo
