I recently made a promise to myself that I would do a little spring cleaning and clean my car out. If you are my personal friend and you’re reading this, then you already know that my car was in desperate need of a thorough cleansing, and you may have even mentioned it to me anywhere from one to twelve times…at first gently, and then “Hey! Melissa! Your car is a huge mess!! Clean it! Now!”
So, I stopped into Walgreens to pick up their Ology products, where they are exclusively available. I found them easily, and they are priced very well! I even earned 1,000 Rewards Points some of the Ology products I purchased! Few things in life excite me more than good deals and Balance Rewards Points, so Ology was already on my good side, before I even got a chance to try it out! I can use those Walgreeen’s Balance Rewards Points towards future Walgreen’s purchases.
I went home with Ology Sulfate Free Moisturizing Shampoo in White Pear & Cucumber, as well as the coordinating Ology Conditioner in the same scent, and a 3 pack of Ology Oatmeal & Honey Triple Milled Soap. I also took home Ology Tree Free 2-ply Tissues, and the Ology All Purpose Cleaner in a wonderful Meyer Lemon & Lavender scent.
Walgreen’s Ology products are free from the following 10 harmful chemicals: Ammonia, Chlorine bleach, DEA (diethanolamine), TEA (triethanolamine), Parabens, Phthalates, Formaldehyde, Nonylphenol ethoxylates, Triclosan, SLS, SLES. Also, Ology does not use artificial dyes or fragrances in their products.
Once I came home from Walgreen’s with my new Ology products, it was time to get to work on the car! I decided that if I was going to clean the car then I might as well clean the whole car!
If you follow me on social media (if you don’t yet the links are at the bottom of this post), then it’s likely that you saw the photo of what was discovered in my car upon cleaning it out. To say that this was a tough job would be a huge understatement. I almost felt bad to put the Ology All Purpose Cleaner to the test on such an awful mess.
I even pulled out the car seats to clean underneath them. Well, if you have toddlers who like to have snacks in the car, then you already know where this is headed. The amount of food under Little J’s car seat was incomprehensible. I thought I was going to need a very aggressive (aka: harsh and filled with chemicals) cleaning product for the mess. Since the kids are in the car every day, I didn’t want to use a cleaning product that would leave a trail of smelly and harmful chemicals for the boys to inhale the next time they got into the car.
I sprayed the Ology All Purpose Cleaner onto the seat where the car seat had been strapped. It smelled fantastic!! I started wiping up the mess and the cleaner easily cut right through the baked on snacks. However, it didn’t do any damage my black leather seats at all. I was MORE than impressed with how clean the car came out after using Ology All Purpose Cleaner.
After I was done cleaning out the car, I headed inside to clean myself up and get ready to go out for the day with my husband and the kids.
I used the Walgreens Ology Facial Tissues to remove the makeup that was on my eyes. The tissues are 100% tree free. The tissues are actually made from readily renewable sugar husk that would otherwise be disposed and quick-growing bamboo that regenerates in as little as six months, so it’s safer for the environment. Despite those things sounding like the tissues could be rough on your skin, they aren’t. They are strong but still soft. That’s important since I have a few little noses around the house that are always in need of a tissue!
When it comes to my personal care and beauty routine, I like to use products that make me appear my best, without containing chemicals that are going to harm my health. I have very long hair, and it needs to be manageable, so I can get quite picky about which shampoo and conditioner I use. To be honest, I was a little skeptical about how the Ology hair products would compare to the products I usually use to tame my mane. I was definitely excited to give them a try.
I always see these products at walgreens but have never tried them! I'll pick them up next time 🙂
Oh yes, you must give them a try! They also have paper towels, plates, castile soap (which is amazing for cleaning makeup brushes!), and a bunch of other great products. Thanks for stopping by 🙂
I haven't been to Walgreen's in ages, but I've always loved them. They're just not close to home, but they are close to work. When I went during my lunch break at work I saw these Ology products. I'm definitely going to snag some next time I'm there. In other words, I'm going to make more trips to Walgreen's. I love that Walgreen's is making products that are
I really like the cleaner – the scent is amazing! Now I want to try the bath/hygiene products.I love that the hair products are sulfate-free.
I am addicted to these products! They smell great and don't cost a fortune!
I adore the smell of the lavender in the All-Purpose Cleaner. Who knew cleaning could be so much fun?! #client
