Baby hands…they’re so cute! Chubby, sweet, and adorable.
On stainless steel appliances? Not so much!
My appliances are usually a horrible mess of sticky little handprints by the end of the day.
Since my kids are so young and touch everything, and stick their hands in their mouths, I prefer to not use harsh cleaners in our home. I like to stick to naturally based “green” cleaners.
So, to clean our stainless steel, it’s a pretty simple process:
I use a spray bottle filled with equal parts hot water and distilled white vinegar. Then, I sprinkle in about 1 tablespoon of baking soda. I use this spray on many of the surfaces in our home, actually, not just the stainless steel.
I spray the appliances with the solution, and then wipe it down, to remove all of the grime.
To restore the sparkle and shine, I use a little olive oil on a lint-free cloth (in this picture below I used a baby burp cloth!)
So cleaning stainless steel is pretty much like making a salad haha…a little vinegar and oil, and you’re good to go!
Check out the shiny “after” results!
So pretty…until tomorrow…when the handprints will come back in full force!
