I was recently asked by The J.M. Smucker Company to create some unique tips for using a new product, and I wanted to share with you some easy car snack ideas that make car trips easy for our family.
Living in South Florida has a lot of benefits besides the weather. There’s so many fun and exciting local places to check out, all within a reasonable car ride from our home. Whenever we are heading out on a car trip that’s going to be about an hour or so long, we make sure that there’s snacks packed for the boys (and for ourselves, too!)
Since the Summer is winding down, we are trying to pack in as many fun day trips as possible before the kids start their first day of preschool next week. I’m thinking of heading to the zoo or another exciting place that we haven’t tried yet here in South Florida.
I went shopping over at Walmart yesterday to make sure that we are stocked up on snacks for our little car day-trips, and I came across these super cool Jif To Go Dippers.
I knew that we definitely needed to have these super convenient Jif To Go Dippers as an easy car snack for the kids. They’re perfect to dip so many different things into! I also grabbed some apples and pretzels while we were at Walmart to create great snack packs for the car. Walmart is definitely the perfect SNACKATION destination!
Quick & Easy Car Snack Ideas
I sliced up the apples, and couldn’t resist dipping them into the amazing, delicious peanut butter. YUM!
Using a portable plastic shower caddy was perfect for the car snacks, since it has a handle and various different compartments to hold the snacks.
Our Jif To Go Dippers fit perfectly in the caddy! I love how easy this makes taking day trips with our family.
FYI – I also always keep a roll of paper towels in the car, since you never know what kind of mess the kids will create!
