LeapFrog Epic Review – Tablet for Kids
My boys recently had a chance to get their hands on the new LeapFrog Epic (Android-based Kids Tablet).
They were really loving their LeapFrog LeapPad Platinum, but there’s two boys and only 1 tablet…so that was not really working out for us! Know what I mean, moms?!
When the Epic arrived at our house, the kids were thrilled that they each have their own tablet to play with now!
The LeapFrog Epic is unique in the fact that it’s LeapFrog’s most most advanced 7″ tablet with a powerful quad-core processor, innovative OS based on Android 4.4, robust 16GB memory, and vivid 2MP camera. It’s fast, and comes with apps pre-loaded. The features go on-and-on!
There’s also the ability for parents to manage the settings for up to 3 profiles. These parental controls allow you to give your child access to, or restrict them from, certain websites. I really love how LeapFrog has children’s safety in mind, since there’s so many potentially unwanted things that kids can come across with access to WiFi.
On the LeapFrog Epic, your child can play in the first interactive home screen designed just for kids, where they can watch night fall, add characters and discover a fun surprise every day! It’s really awesome. Even I enjoy watching the little characters and vehicles come to life across the Epic screen.
This tablet also works with the LeapFrog Imagicards. My boys love seeing characters from their favorite shows pop up on the screen of their tablets, like the pups from PAW Patrol, and there’s LeapFrog Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Imagicards, too!
If you’re looking for toddler Christmas gifts, a Hanukkah gift for your 7 year old, or a perfect holiday present for your grandchild, the LeapFrog Epic tablet is the perfect holiday gift!
My kids love their LeapFrog tablets, and I’m excited about all of the new things they’re learning from playing on them.
This tablet is really amazing, and it is already one of the hottest holiday gifts for toddlers on Amazon!
