Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures have launched the PetMOJI Keyboard for mobile devices in advance of the July 8th release of THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS.
The application allows users to create custom avatars for their own pets. Created by digital marketing agency TVGla, with illustrations by Mattson Creative, the application is available in iTunes now with an Android application to launch soon.
It was super fun to create a custom #PetMOJI for my Boxer, Henry! I was able to pick the shape of his body, snout, tail, color of fur, patches, and more details to make him look as close to the real-life Henry as possible! I think Henry’s PetMOJI came out pretty cute, don’t you think?!
The PetMOJI Keyboard is the first application to enable users to create a custom avatar that looks like their personal pet. With the variety of features available to customize your dog or cat, the application allows for billions of unique results.
In addition to customizable pet emojis, the application offers emojis based directly on the characters from Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures’ THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS. I am a serious over user of emoji’s when text messaging. So, having some fun new furry friends to text to my friends is kind of a big deal in my iPhone!
