Have you been to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party before? Despite having been to Walt Disney World countless times in my life (and we even live right down the street at the moment!), I’d never been to MNSSHP until this year!
I was thrilled to have the chance to go, as were my kids! We had the best time at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, and I’ll fill you in on everything you need to know about the 2016 festivities!
Magic Kingdom closes to their general admission guests at 7pm and the magic of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party begins! When you arrive you’re given a special bag to fill with the goodies you collect while trick-or-treating throughout the park!
From land to land, get your fill of candies, treats, snacks and more—including allergy-free options galore!
My kids loved that they were able to collect candy throughout the park.
We also loved all of the fun performances (including the captivating Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular featuring the Sanderson Sisters from Disney’s Hocus Pocus), the awesome Boo-to-You Parade, and bumping into our favorite Disney characters around Magic Kingdom.
Our most favorite thing at Magic Kingdom is always the fireworks and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party definitely doesn’t disappoint in the fireworks department! The pyrotechnic effects blaze through the sky, and the spectacular show lights up the night while hosted by The Ghost Host from the Haunted Mansion!
The “scare-abration” gets into full swing when some of the Disney Villains we most love to hate—including Maleficent, Ursula, Cruella de Vil, Jafar and Oogie Boogie—croon their scary tunes and do their best to steal the show.
All in all, MNSSHP is an event that’s not to be missed! This was our first, but most certainly will not be our last time attending, as it was truly an awesome evening that we won’t soon forget!
