My new little baby just turned three months old! It’s crazy how pregnancy feels like it last 47 years long while you wait for your baby to be born. Yet once your beautiful new person is here it truly flies by in the blink of an eye. What’s not flying off yet for me is all of the weight I gained while I was pregnant this time around. After I had our middle son I lost 90 pounds in 9 months, and I’m a firm believer in the whole “9 months on, 9 months off” theory of weight loss, so I know it will eventually come off.
The problem for me lies in the interim period while losing the baby weight. It’s a place of being in-between maternity clothes and my old clothes. So, to leave the house in something other than oversized pajamas (which I may have done a few times!) I’ve decided to buy myself some nice postpartum clothes to feel better about myself and look cute, too. I’m a big believer in the postpartum wardrobe!
I live near a great downtown shopping area and recently went into the Bealls Florida store to see what I could find to fit my “new” body. What I love about Bealls is that they pretty much have everything you need (clothes, shoes, accessories, and more) at a great value, and they have something for everyone in the whole family! Bealls is packed from wall-to-wall with well-known brands as well as private label brands such as: Reel Legends, Southern Legends, Dept. 222, and Juniper + Lime – brands that exude Florida style through and through.
As I browsed Bealls my cart piled up high with so many cute things! This made me excited to get dressed up again, something that I’ve been struggling with since having my baby. I found flowy tops to hide my current problem areas, stylish pants, even name brand workout clothes and sneakers. So.much.cute.stuff!
My favorite outfit from my recent Bealls trip is this floral boho cris-cross top with lace detailing by Democracy, paired with olive pants from Dept. 222, camel peep toe booties, and an olive backpack that can double as a stylish diaper bag! This outfit is perfect for a busy mom-on-the-go like me. I can go from school drop off to a meeting or coffee with a friend. It’s an ensemble that can last all day long.
I love the bell sleeves on this top to give it some southern charm, and also adore the attention to detail on my new camel peep toe booties. So much cuteness in one outfit! This number will definitely be on repeat throughout the fall, y’all!
Stay up to date with the latest happenings at Bealls – be sure to follow them on Facebook,Twitter , and Instagram. I can’t wait to go back later this month to use the Bealls Bucks I earned to snag some more cute outfits. I may even be nice and grab something for my husband and kids while I’m there, too!
