I never get bored of eating salads. Try this summer salad topped off with the most amazing homemade strawberry vinaigrette salad dressing….
Sweet summertime is right around the corner. So close you can almost taste it. Well, in Florida you can taste it nearly year round. Especially during the strawberry season. Living in Central Florida, I love getting my produce Fresh From Florida, and strawberries are no exception.
Salads are one of my very favorite meals. I love making creative salads that incorporate many different ingredients so I never get bored of eating a salad. I decided to whip up a delicious summer salad topped off with the most amazing homemade strawberry vinaigrette salad dressing. It came out so good that I will be making this again and again all season long!
It’a super simple to make, and doesn’t require many ingredients. Best of all, you know exactly what’s in it and what you’re eating. Clean, healthy, and fresh…yum!
The Best Strawberry Vinaigrette Salad Dressing
Here’s how to whip up this delish dressing to add a kick of fresh flavor to your salad:
INGREDIENTS
– 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (stems removed & sliced)
– 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 tablespoon honey
– dash of salt
– dash of pepper
– dash of garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
Add strawberries into a food processor until strawberries are mashed up (they don’t need to be a smooth consistency).
Add in remaining ingredients and give it a mix.
That’s it!
Pour this deliciousness over the top of your favorite salad and enjoy the fresh, yummy flavors. So perfect for summer, right?!
For our salad, we added some fresh Spring Mix to a bowl with tomatoes, radishes, red onion, and fresh mozzarella cheese. With the strawberry vinaigrette over the top it was absolute perfection. This would be an amazing recipe for a summer party, picnic, or any day you want to jazz up your favorite salad.
