Thinking of traveling to St. Pete Beach on Florida’s Gulf Coast. TradeWinds Island Grand is the largest beachfront resort on St. Pete Beach and we loved our time there! Find out why….

Last week I had the chance to experience TradeWinds Island Resorts on St. Pete Beach here in Florida. I was invited as part of their blogger media day, and of course I accepted the invitation! TradeWinds Island Grand is the largest beachfront resort on St. Pete Beach, so we were excited to play at one of the biggest and best playgrounds on the Gulf Coast!

When we arrived we were checked into the resort, and our bags were brought up to our gorgeous room. I was pleasantly surprised to find that our room had all of the amenities of home. We had two queen beds, a large luxurious bathroom, and another separate sitting room with pull-out bed, and a small kitchen (full -sized refrigerator, coffee maker and coffee, and sink). This was perfect for us, as I love to have the amenities of home when we are traveling with our children. Plus, mama needs coffee, y’all!
TradeWinds Island Resorts on St. Pete Beach Review
Once we dropped our bags at the room, we headed over to the Flying Bridge Bar & Grill for dinner and drinks. We walked through the lush tropical oasis that is TradeWinds Island Grand Resort to get to the restaurant, as we took in the sights of palm trees, pools, and waterways with paddle boats.
The food was fantastic, the drinks were delish, but the view of those famous St. Pete sunsets was HEAVEN! This is exactly what I needed to unwind after a long summer of staying at home with my three boys! A little R & R and a perfect sunset works wonders on the soul, it’s a proven fact!
When we woke up the next morning we were pumped to get over to the beach and have some fun in the sun. There’s something for everyone at TradeWinds, and people of all ages will enjoy this resort.
Whether you want to relax with a book under the hooded cabana while taking in the ocean breeze, splash around in the ocean, or feel the thrill of flying down the 200-foot tall High Tide Slide, you’ll find all of that plus more at TradeWinds. There’s also live music, tiki bars, a 15,750-square-foot floating ocean water park, and SO.MUCH.MORE.
Our family already loved St. Pete beach before visiting TradeWinds Island Grand Resort, but now we love it even more! I know exactly where we will be going on our next beach trip, which I hope is sooner rather than later, because I cannot wait to visit TradeWinds again soon!
PS – check out this clip of my sister and I flying down the High Tide Slide:
