Fall is the best season of the year. Except here in Central Florida, we don’t get much of a fall season. We generally have HOT and HOTTER as our two main Florida seasons. I am eagerly awaiting a slight dip in the temperatures so I can stop sweating down my face every single time I walk outside. Inside of my house, however, it’s fall…and I don’t care what anyone else (looking at you, weatherman) has to say about it.
Some of my favorite things for the fall season include:
My Fall Favorites
ALL.THINGS.PUMPKIN. – This really is one of my favorite times of the year. I look forward to pumpkin picking with my family, fall festivals, and all of the amazing fall/pumpkin flavors that are abundant. I mean, I may be a little bit basic, and I’m not one bit ashamed about it!
COZY & CUDDLY THINGS – Blankets, sweaters, and boots, oh my! I’ll let you in on a little secret about me, I adore old quilts. My antique and vintage quilt collection is kind of large. A freshly washed antique quilt is so, so cuddly and perfect to relax with!
SEASONAL FOOD & DRINKS – Pumpkin spice…yum. But, is there really anything better than curling up in bed with a hot cuppa tea and a cuddly old blanket? I think not. My absolute favorite teas are Celestial Seasonings teas. Celestial Seasonings makes tea in sooo many different delicious flavors, and it’s hard to pick a fave.
When I was at Walmart recently I grabbed a few different flavors, and I’m currently loving the Honey Vanilla Chamomile.
While all of their teas have delicious flavors, they also are leaders in sustainability. Something noteworthy about Celestial Seasonings is that they package their teas in natural fiber, pillow-style tea bags that don’t need a string, tag, staple or individual wrapper. Doing this saves more than 3.5 million pounds of waste from entering landfills each year!
I am really looking forward to a fun and festive fall. What are some of your favorite things to do, eat, and enjoy during fall?? Leave a comment and let me know down below! 🙂
