WDW Character Dining at The Crystal Palace
The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World is one of the most iconic Disney restaurants. We love dining at the Crystal Palace for the character breakfast and lunch (haven’t done dinner there yet). Living so close to Disney (we can see the fireworks from our backyard!) allows us to go the parks quite often to try different things. My kids didn’t have school on Friday so I booked some FastPasses and grabbed a reservation for the character lunch at Crystal Palace.

Everything You Need to Know About Lunch at The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom
– The Crystal Palace is a buffet style meal. For lunch they have assorted salads (fresh and pasta), meats, tons of veggies, soup, and more. The food was super delicious. For kids they have the standard chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, and some veggies. Oh, and let’s not forget there’s ice cream and desserts galore. – Kids under 3 eat FREE! Kids 3 -11 eat at a reduced price.
– We love character dining. I’m not a huge fan of lining up to meet the characters outside, especially when it’s insanely hot out here in Florida. Character dining is the best way to meet your favorite friend, get photos, autographs, and even some hugs! The Crystal Palace features: Pooh Bear, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet. Don’t leave until you’ve had a chance to meet all of the characters. Also, it takes about an hour for them to come back around if you miss one!
– Be sure to encourage the kids to take part in the Friendship Day Parade! Similarly to how Ohana does a parade at their character meal, so does The Crystal Palace. The kids get to march around the restaurant with Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger! It’s so cute and they really love it!
We really enjoyed the food, fun, and friends at The Crystal Palace lunch dining experience. It’s a pricey meal, for sure, but something worth budgeting for if you’re visiting the parks and want to have an up close and personal meet-and-greet with your favorite characters. Also, you can probably get away with skipping a meal (and having something light) after all of the food that they give you at this buffet. After we had lunch at The Crystal Palace we weren’t super hungry for dinner, to be honest! It was a fun and filling meal.
