When I had our older two sons, they were born only 13 months apart so they were always together and always with me. When I had our youngest, Baby V, our middle son was already four years old. So, now that our older two boys are in school I have lots of one-on-one time with my toddler.
It’s so nice to be able to spend time with him, laugh, play, and enjoy his little personality.
After we drop the older two boys off at school, we start our mornings with coffee for me and breakfast for him. Then, we usually take a walk around the lake together (him in the stroller), and sometimes stop at the park near our house so he can play. When we return home I like to complete my at-home workout (if you’ve been following along with my weight loss journey over on Instagram I’ve lost over 20 pounds in the last few months with at-home workouts).
Before we pick the kids back up from school we like to give our floors a quick mop to keep our home looking it’s best! My toddler absolutely loves this part of our day! Well, what toddler doesn’t like helping their mommy clean, right?!
