We recently moved to a new home – a log cabin!! I’ve been sharing a ton of behind the scenes photos at our new place over on Instagram. It’s been a huge change from our previous suburban home, but definitely a lot of fun to be living so wild and free. We are living on 5 acres of land, and homeschooling our 3 little boys, which is also something new from last year. Basically the exact opposite of how we were living a few months ago. Our previous home was a new build with all white everything (cabinets, subway tile, etc) and this new place is a rustic cabin in the woods. Polar opposites.
Being that we are living on land now, the mess is REAL, friends. It has been hard to keep everything clean with 3 boys running around all day . They love to ride their bikes, play in the dirt, help me plant things in our new garden, and just be kids.
I want them to have a fun and magical childhood, so outdoor play is a MUST, but it definitely gets messy when the boys play outside in the dirt! These little boys are tracking dirt and mud everywhere, despite my best efforts to encourage them not to.
